Blueberries are just about the perfect snack. They are good warm or cold, and with and in a plethora of items. My children enjoy them as a 'hands down favorite' even without sugar being added. Whether fresh from the field, refrigerated or frozen, blueberries are is a go-to snack in our house. At the beginning of the season, we all eat bucketfuls, but the season is short and they're good for you, so there's no reason not to indulge!
Although homemade pancakes are a favorite winter breakfast staple at our home, the children prefer frozen rather than cooked berries with their pancakes. We all like blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup. :)
